This was a most welcome oasis along the wall after walking from Once Brewed through to Lanercost on the 23rd of September 2025. The rooms were lovely and the house was amazing. Full of charm and character. Our host, Charlotte and her team were attentive and good fun. We had a lovely meal together with fellow wall travellers, some going east to west, and others west to east. The stay here was a highlight of our travels. Thank you.

Totally love this place. Charlotte was great host from the very point we knocked on the door. Really relaxing, loving setting, very friendly and inviting and we got to chat with other guests. Dinner was greatly welcomed after a long day walking. Beautiful location with stunning views from our window. A total find so nice.

Great stay at Abbey farm house. Charlotte was a great host and looked after us very well. Lovely clean room. Fabulous 3 course meal ( Thanks for the gluten free option) tasty breakfast for a full days walk ahead
