The British Parachute School (BPS) is one of the UK's busiest and largest civilian skydiving centres, operating full-time from the historic Langar Airfield in the Vale of Belvoir, near Nottingham. Operating since 1977, the centre offers a wide range of jumps and courses, including Tandem Skydives from up to 14,000 ft, the intensive Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Course for fast-track solo qualification, and the Static Line Course. The school is fully affiliated with British Skydiving (BPA) and is a major hub for experienced jumpers and university skydiving clubs.
