Welcome to The Lagg Inn, a charming family-owned hotel where a warm Scottish welcome awaits every guest. Since taking ownership in 2023, Jules and Lee have been dedicated to creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making The Lagg Inn the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Isle of Arran.

Nestled within beautifully maintained secluded gardens in the peaceful wooded hollow of Lagg, Kilmory, our hotel offers a tranquil escape just a short stroll from the beach. Whether you're looking for a relaxing break, an outdoor adventure or a memorable getaway, The Lagg Inn provides the ideal base from which to discover everything Arran has to offer.

Guests can enjoy comfortable en-suite accommodation, a welcoming bar, attentive service and peaceful gardens that invite you to slow down and soak up the surroundings.

Our restaurant serves freshly prepared homemade meals every day from 12 noon until 8pm. From hearty traditional favourites to our popular homemade soups and freshly baked pizzas with a wide variety of toppings, there's something to satisfy every appetite.

Steeped in history, The Lagg Inn is one of Arran's oldest hotels. Originally built in 1791 as a coaching inn, it provided food, rest and accommodation for travellers crossing the island. During the 1950s and 1960s, the Crook family sympathetically extended the hotel, adding the kitchen, dining room and many of the comfortable guest bedrooms that continue to welcome visitors today.

Located on the scenic southern tip of the Isle of Arran, The Lagg Inn has long been admired for its idyllic setting, mature gardens and peaceful surroundings. Whether you're visiting to explore the island's spectacular landscapes, enjoy coastal walks, a game of golf, discover local wildlife or simply relax with great food and genuine hospitality, you'll find The Lagg Inn is a place you'll want to return to time and time again.

Stayed at the Lagg Hotel, lovely place in perfect setting. We were there 2 nights and had lovely accommodation and food was great. All the staff look after you and Jules in particular is a great asset to this hotel. We did some great beach walks that are nearby. Bliss

What a gem! Fabulous gardens, staff who seem genuinely pleased to see you and delighted to serve you.

The staff couldn’t do enough to advise and assist. First visit we sat in the garden by a stream in the sunshine (what more could you want?) We ate home made pizza and fish tacos - both were gorgeous.

We went back and ate inside, this time choosing a pizza (the first was so good) and for me a veggie pie. Again both were gorgeous,

As there was a nip in the air a fire was lit just for us and my dog Bertie was given fuss, a treat and a water bowl.

In a world of customer indifference The Lagg appear to take joy in their work - this joy is infectious.
