The British Golf Museum is the home of golf’s history, located in the heart of the where this very sport originated. The museum holds Europe’s largest collection of golf memorabilia and provides an interactive, hands on insight into over 500 years of golfing history.
The museum provides an educational yet enjoyable day out for all ages, even for those who are not avid golfers. For the younger family members, there is a Children’s Guide available at the front desk. This enables children to learn about the history of the sport in a more straightforward, entertaining way. There’s even a trial for the younger children that highlights the most interesting objects within the museum.
