WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre is a multi-award winning visitor attraction set within 800 acres of wild reserve. The centre consists of a collection of birds, mammals, amphibians, play areas, restaurant, gift shop and several interactive conservation exhibits including a walk through aviary, theatre, museum and accommodation.
There is a nature reserve and for keen bird watchers there are several bird hides including the accessible Estuary Tower with stunning views across the Severn Estuary. WWT Slimbridge offers a fantastic day out for all the family. There are events and activities running throughout the year including canoe safari in the summer.
WWT Slimbridge has a Gold accreditation from Visit England and received a silver award for Accessibility and Inclusion at the South West Tourism Awards
