The Fossils Galore is a non-profit education centre that started in 2002 as a website for round the world fossil and crystal enthusiasts, this then grew and became the centre it is today.
The aim of the centre is to educate the young and old about life in the past, right back to the beginning of life. One of the first things you see as you walk into the centre is the museum with themed displays of fossils and crystals from around the world, with all the information about the display so the public can learn about these displays in their own time.
On the second floor of the centre we have the pride of the team, the preparation laboratory, where the public can see their team working on a range of bones from the Jurassic deep sea’s to Ice Age animals and lots lots more.
