Llandegla Trout Fishery is located on the A525 road between Wrexham and Ruthin, nestled in the beautiful Clwydian Hills.
The fishery features three trout lakes, one worm lake, and two coarse lakes. The trout lakes are stocked with high-quality rainbow, blue, brown, and golden trout, with sizes reaching over 20 lbs. The coarse lakes contain carp (also up to 20 lbs), as well as roach, rudd, tench, crucian carp, bream, and barbel.
Llandegla Fishery is ideally positioned for mountain biking and walking, offering a range of outdoor activities in the stunning Welsh hills. We are located just 100 yards from the entrance to one of Wales's most popular mountain biking centre's, Coed Llandegla. There is also an RSPB centre nearby, with walks around the reservoir that is home to black grouse. Additionally, we are one mile away from the Offa's Dyke path. Within a three-mile radius, you will find a shooting ground, a gliding club, and a horse riding center.
Our facilities include a café with a garden, a Caravan and Camping Club Touring Site, B&B accommodations, and self-catering options. We also offer glamping, bell tents, and a shepherd's hut.
