Enclosed by woodland and garden, the Birchwood Hotel provides quiet seclusion in a Victorian mansion with a country-house atmosphere, minutes from the centre of Pitlochry, an ideal holiday destination in the heart of Perthshire, Scotland.
The Birchwood Hotel is a fine, Scottish family home, built in 1875. On cooler evenings an open fire welcomes you back and warms your pre-dinner aperitif. There is a small, well-stocked bar for the exclusive use of guests.
The traditional restaurant serves Scottish food, and during the summer evenings the garden provides a soothing, colourful backdrop. Each en-suite bedroom is unique; no predictable uniformity. Since taking over in 1997 Viv and John have each winter undertaken a programme of upgrading, refurbishing and redecoration which will continue....until we start all over again! Drying facilities.
