A traditional 19th Century guest house in Windermere, just a short stroll away from the train/bus stations, the Lake and all local amenities.

Choose Adam Place for a wide range of seasonal breaks to suit all budgets and requirements, from mid-week and weekend packages to weekly rates. A traditional, vegetarian or continental breakfast is served daily from 8.30-9.30 in the 1960s-themed dining room. Guests are welcome to relax in our award winning garden with seating area. Only Children that are older than 6 years welcome (children 6-16 half price). Free on-street parking is available, we kindly request that you inform the guest house of your estimated time of arrival. Your welcoming host, Linda, can offer assistance throughout your stay.

Really enjoyed our stay everything we needed for a chilled couple of days. The place is lovely ,friendly and clean it's a great place to lay your head after a busy time sightseeing etc. The owner Linda was so welcoming and made our stay great and she cooked a fabulous breakfast. We will definitely recommend and book again.

From the welcome, to the room, to the breakfast we couldn’t have been happier. Linda is warm and welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, well presented with the comfiest bed! Breakfast, in the small but perfectly formed dining room, was a feast and they couldn’t do enough for us. From multiple rounds of toast and endless pots of tea, all served with a warm word and humour. A wonderful, wonderful place to stay!
