Perched above Pembroke Dock on Old Barrack Hill, South Pembrokeshire Golf Club was established in 1967 and has grown from a modest nine-hole course into a testing 18-hole parkland layout that still retains charm.
The homeward stretch is especially dramatic—holes 14 and 15 are known to punish errant shots, especially when wind sweeps in from the estuary. The course measures roughly 6,210 yards with a par 70, and offers panoramic vistas of the Cleddau Waterway, Preseli Hills, and surrounding countryside. The greens are widely regarded among the best in the locality, having been replaced and improved in recent years.
In the clubhouse you’ll enjoy “The View” restaurant, a licensed bar, changing rooms, and a warm atmosphere ideal for individuals, groups or societies. Golf club & trolley hire are available, and the course is maintained in superb condition.
