THE QUEENS HALL LTD

89 Clerk Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian, EH8 9JG

The Queen's Hall began as Hope Park Chapel in 1823 and served as a church until 1976. Following its closure, an appeal was launched in 1977 to raise £850,000 for its conversion into a concert hall. The Queen's Hall was officially opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II on July 6, 1979.

Since then, it has been a venue for exceptional music by world-class artists. In early 2024, we celebrated our building's 200th Anniversary with a concert featuring a commission by Erland Cooper titled 'Hope Park.' Today, we continue to be one of Edinburgh's oldest and most diverse venues for live music, comedy, and spoken word.
