BORDERS TEXTILE TOWERHOUSE

The heritage, the future of Scotland's premier textile manufacturing region is presented within a beautifully-restored 16th Century Tower House. People, processes, products from virgin wool to haute couture. Border knitwear and tweeds have been adopted by the whole world come and explore the unfinished story! The Towerhouse also contains the Tom Scott Room, which is dedicated to the noted Scottish water colourist (1854-1927), with touch screen access to the Museum's collection of his work. Shop souvenirs, gifts, books. Wheelchair access. Admission free. An education facility is available for schools and families at Borders Textile Towerhouse.
