Arscott Golf Club, established in 1992, offers an 18-hole, par 70 parkland course set against the backdrop of the South Shropshire Hills. Located just 4 miles from Shrewsbury, the course stretches approximately 6,232 yards from the white tees and features a mix of gentle hills, undulating fairways, and natural hazards such as pit mounds and marl pits. The layout presents a fair test for golfers of all abilities, with water coming into play on the closing holes, notably the 18th with its pond and strategically placed tree guarding the green.
The clubhouse, which has won awards for its design and environmental approach, provides a welcoming atmosphere with a second-floor bar offering panoramic views over the 18th hole and the surrounding countryside.
Facilities include a pro shop, practice area, and putting green, with golf tuition available from the resident professional, Glyn Sadd.
