Hot-air balloon passenger flights over South
Warwickshire, the Cotswolds, Worcestershire,
North Oxfordshire and The Peak District.
Nationwide flight vouchers also available. This
experience takes 3-4 hours including an hour's
flight. Celebrated with champagne and flight
certificate. Also available for groups for
pleasure, incentives, team building etc. Main
season April though to the end of October. Prior
booking normally needed.

Stratford on Avon Gliding
Club located in the heart of Shakespeare's
Warwickshire on the edge of the Cotswolds. It's a
friendly club geared up towards helping members
and visitors to learn to fly or to enjoy the
delights of soaring over the beautiful local
countryside.
We offer a range of flying
experiences from single trial lesson flights -
perfect for that special present for a friend or
family member - right through to multi day courses
designed for those serious about learning to glide
- contact us to discuss your personal
requirements. We have a comfortable well-equipped
clubhouse with catering facilities most of the
year. The Club operates 7 days a week during the
summer (May to September) and on Thursdays,
Saturdays and Sundays throughout the rest of the
year. Our members range from teenagers upwards and
come from all walks of life. We have British
Gliding Association approved instructors available
to undertake all training.
Shenington Gliding Club is one of the most
dynamic and progressive gliding clubs in the
country, with an increase in membership of 300%
since 1991. We pride ourselves on making
everybody feel welcome. There is a thriving
social life - during summer there are regular
club barbecues, whilst in winter there is the
usual round of seasonal parties. The longer
winter evenings and non-flying days are ideal
for formal and informal gliding lectures,
usually followed by a trip to a local hostelry
for refreshments! Our members range from
teenagers to octogenarians and come from all
walks of life. We believe we have one of the
highest ratios of active flying female club
members in the country at all levels of
experience. Shenington Airfield is a great site,
with a NW facing ridge, excellent Cotswold edge
thermals, no airspace problems. The airfield is
at the top of the ridge with good drainage which
enables us to operate all year round. With
professional instructors and fully qualified
member instructors available 7 days a week you
can fly whenever you like. We have a fully
equipped clubhouse with bunkhouse, cooking and
shower facilities as well as a bar. There is
also on-site catering available at peak times.
You may camp or caravan on site or stay in one
of the excellent local B&B's. Details available
on request.

We are a small microlight flight training
organisation situated in the Vale of Evesham,
close to Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds.
Providing flying lessons on both 3-axis and flex
wing aircraft, we are available to fly every day
of the week, weather dependant. We also service
and maintain aircraft, offer check flights and
inspections for annual permit renewals and are
the Midlands agent for aircraft and equipment
sales. An air experience flight with an
instructor is a fascinating introduction to this
exciting sport and we offer vouchers from 20
minutes to one hour. Try the open air
exhilaration of the Pegasus or the more relaxing
comfort of the more conventional enclosed cabin
Ikarus.
