Nestling on the eastern side of the Malvern Hills, The Worcestershire Golf Club can lay claim to being the oldest club in the Midlands and a fairly senior one, in terms of age, in England. As a golf course it presents a fair test of any golfer's ability and scenically it would be hard to find one more aesthetically pleasing. The course has plenty of natural hazards in the form of streams and ponds, a sufficient number of bunkers to induce a sense of accuracy, plenty of out of bounds which present a problem to the strong hooker and greens which are of a kind to test the putting ability of even the most experienced golfer.
