Little Doward, 5 miles south of Ross-on-Wye on the A40, is an iron age hill fort with 18th century picturesque landscaped walks and viewpoints and stunning views overlooking the River Wye and the surrounding countryside. Recent work has opened up views and conserved heritage features with Lottery funding through the Overlooking the Wye scheme in partnership with owners The Woodland Trust.
