Stow-on-the-Wold stands about 800 feet up in a hilltop position and is the highest town in the Cotswolds. The centre of Stow is its great market square which was the scene of two annual sheep fairs and now has a number of elegant Cotswold houses and coaching inns facing onto it.

The Church of St. Edward was used as a prison for Royalist captives in the Civil War and has an interesting Crucifixion scene in the Dutch style as well as two pre-Raphaelite stained glass windows in the clerestory.

Stow is now known as a centre for high quality specialist antiques.

Nestling in the Windrush Valley approximately 6 miles west of Stow-on-the-Wold, 4 miles from Bourton-on-the-Water, Naunton is quiet and unspoilt with easy access to all the wonders of the Cotswolds.

Originally built in 1943 Mill View has recently been extended, refurbished and improved. Bedrooms are en-suite, well decorated and furnished with TV and full hospitality tray, including a decanter of Sherry for your enjoyment. A wheelchair accessible ground floor room is available. We serve a full English breakfast every morning (evening meals on request).
