Local Restaurants, Cafes, Pubs, Bars, etc in Barmouth

Places to eat in Barmouth.

Barmouth is a pretty little seaside resort at the end of the scenic Mawddach Estuary. It is in a stunning location with the mountain range of Cader Idris rising from its valley. Barmouth has something for everyone with a good sandy beach for the family and everything that you would need in the town. A special place for everyone who likes the outdoors and a great place for walkers and cyclists.

We cannot give a full list of all available food outlets but below is a small selection of those available in Barmouth or surrounding areas.

Delightful little smoke free bistro - Les Routiers and A Taste of Wales approved. All dishes are prepared on the premises using fresh local produce whenever possible. The proprietors, Rosie & Gareth, take a real pride in their special Vegetarian and Fish boards. Enjoy an excellent wine list. The Bistro will do its very best to cater for any special requests - please phone in advance. For larger parties they love to create special menus. Though they only have 18 covers a pleasant, friendly and smoke free atmosphere is always guaranteed. Established for over 7 years, a good regular clientele means booking a table is recommended especially at weekends. The varied menu and a daily 'specials' offer fresh fish and local Welsh meat. These are complemented by a small wine list featuring wines from around the world including Wales.
