Llyn Brenig, Cerrigydrudion, Conwy, North Wales, LL21 9TT
Officially opened in December of 1976, Llyn Brenig, at 920-acres, is one of the largest lakes (or llynnoedd) in Wales and is home to one of the few remaining fisheries preserved exclusively for fly-fishing.

There are cycles available to hire from 9am-5pm with prices starting from £7 for children and £10 for adults, with several trails available at different lengths and terrains to suit all abilities.

If you prefer to take a more relaxing stroll, there are many different walking routes too, offering stunning views, depending on the time of year and the time of day, and wildlife to be seen along the way. For a fantastic day out for all, look no further than Llyn Brenig.

Swallow Falls

Betws-Y-Coed, Gwynedd, LL24 0DW     Tel: 01690 710770

VISITING North Wales without a quick look at Swallow Falls would be a little like visiting Rome without peeping into the Coliseum. Unthinkable. This waterfall on the Afon Llugwy has become a familiar natural celebrity over the past 100 years and has featured on film, postcard and canvas. While its principal viewpoints are situated on the south bank of the Llugwy with the convenience of ample parking along the A5 and within the hotel car park, it is observed far more dramatically if approached on foot along the northern bank.
