Flowing through the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, making it a must for nature lovers. Steep green hills, thick woodlands and wild moors are all part of the view. The towpath is a wonderful way for walkers and cyclists to explore the area at an easy pace. The northern section forms part of the Taff Trail Long Distance Footpath. The canal is not connected to the rest of the waterway network, but it is still very popular to cruise by hire boat.
