| At Pontrhydfendigaid, near Aberystwyth a co-operative to establish the Mid Wales Activity Centre for Motorsport. Their business vision has not only become a commercial success story, but has also won them accolades from business leaders from around Wales. In the 1980s, farmer Non Jones built a track round his farm to make some of his fields more accessible. But in May 2003, he decided to tarmac the two mile farm track and turn it into an auto rally venue to form the basis of an outdoor activity centre - the only one of its kind. The centre now runs a number of motocross and enduro events throughout the year and is also available for car testing and staging events. |
