| Lake Vyrnwy just to the south of Snowdonia is a man-made water reservoir with a perimeter road 18 kilometres long, a short drive from the Shropshire border. A day-out from areas such as Birmingham and Liverpool. If you stay here it is a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia and the coast from Harlech to Aberystwyth. Bethania Adventure provides Self Catering - 16 bed bunk house, Kayaking, Open canoeing, Sailing and Board sailing on the lake, with instruction or for hire. White water rafting, raft building and swiftwater rescue training on our local rivers. We also offer the outdoor pursuits, climbing, abseiling, archery and expeditions. |
