Set on the owners' smallholding close to the Carmarthenshire village of Laugharne, this detached single storey property is perfect for those hoping to escape to the country and enjoy nature at its best. The smallholding is home to such a variety of animals and birds, including donkeys, geese, sheep, pigs, goats, owls and peacocks, and guests are welcome to assist the owner at feeding time.

The cottage itself is spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable, with two double bedrooms, a twin room, a bathroom with corner bath and easy-access walk-in shower, and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and cosy sitting area. The cottage has its own patio area, and guests also enjoy shared use of a large meadow with childrens play equipment. Laugharne itself was once home to Dylan Thomas, and visitors can enjoy a trip to his Boat House. There is also a castle, pubs, tea rooms and shops. Slightly further afield are the 7-mile long sands of Pendine, the resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, and the thrilling theme park at Oakwood. ...more info
