A traditional seaside
resort with a prom, pier, marina, lighthouses
and beach, the Mumbles lies at the western end
of Swansea Bay and is the gateway to the
splendid Gower Peninsula. It boasts two rocky
coves known as Bracelet and Limeslade.
Surfers’ favourite Langland Bay is a mile
away. It was at The Mumbles in 1807 that one
of the world’s oldest- running passenger
railways was opened using real horsepower.
