Sutton Bingham and
District Canoe Club aims to promote the sport and
recreation of canoeing in a safe and enjoyable
way, to provide opportunities for those wishing to
try the sport for the first time and encourage
those already partaking in the sport, to achieve
their full potential.
The club was formed in the
spring of 2001 and provides canoeing and kayaking
opportunities for all ages and skill groups. Based
near Yeovil, Somerset the club has access to The
River Yeo, Sutton Bingham Reservoir and Sherborne
Pool on a weekly basis.
Starting with beginners on
Sutton Bingham the club supports many of the
different disciplines within the sport, including
Canoe, Kayak, white water, placid water, polo,
marathon, surf and slalom.

Around 1400sq feet to
house our diving and general watersports
equipment whilst offering the full range of PADI
and EFR courses as well as servicing dive
equipment.
Scuba Scene Taunton will also be trading under
the Aqua Scene name.
All courses include materials, certification and
equipment hire where needed For professional
level courses, materials are available at
additional cost, all students should have their
own equipment and an application fee is payable
directly to PADI on completion of the course.

This purpose-built lake
set in the historic Somerset levels gives you
the opportunity to try something out of the
ordinary. Although situated in a peaceful rural
setting, everything you need for a super day out
is at hand! This unique water sports centre with
water ski, wakeboard, jet ski and karting
facilities also has it's own fully licensed
clubhouse overlooking the lake.
A varied menu is available
(and a barbecue area is situated next to the
clubhouse). Whether you’re a beginner or skilled
to international standard we’ll cater to your
individual needs!
