"THE GREY MULLET," one of the best known and friendliest Guest Houses in the
oldest part of St. Ives, offers a warm welcome in comfortable and homely surroundings. Built in 1776, during the
reign of George III, it is a listed building situated only yards from the harbour,
Porthmeor Surfing beach, Porthgwidden beach, car parks, restaurants and art galleries
including the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum.

|
|
The house is full of
interest and character and retains its "Olde Worlde" charm with oak beamed
ceilings and exposed granite walls hung with paintings, sketches and old photographs.St. Ives is famous for
its artists and art galleries, cobbled streets, four golden sandy beaches and its fishing
harbour.
It provides the perfect base for touring
the numerous attractions of West Comwall e.g. St Michaels Mount, Newlyn, The Minack
Theatre and the many miles of cliff walks.
All rooms at "THE GREY
MULLET" have colour T.V., tea and coffee making facilities and guests have access to
rooms at all times.
|
| An excellent
English or Vegetarian breakfast is served in the cellar dining room and there is a
comfortable lounge with an open fire. Upper rooms have superb views of the harbour and
beaches and most rooms have en-suite facilities. The house being centrally heated and open throughout the year is
ideal for winter breaks.
