Lobster pots, fishing
nets, cobbled yards, chandler's shops and
sailing yachts are poignant reminders of this
seaside resort's past as a major ship-building
centre.
It boasts the largest covered dock in Europe
and even has a smuggler’s tunnel, while pretty
fishermen's cottages overlook the quayside.
A short ferry journey takes visitors to the
sandy beaches of Instow. |
