Situated on the Tarka Trail facing the Taw Estuary and next to RSPB reserve. Hungry cyclists, fishermen, birdwatchers, exhibition visitors - anyone can enjoy a real taste of Devon at the Quay Café. Members of the "Taste of the West" scheme and food is always fresh and sourced locally, organic where possible, with vegetarian options. On offer are a range of exciting meals from old Devon recipes, home-made cream teas with fresh scones made to order, delicious cakes and puddings and a range of gourmet picnic food to take with you on your day out. The restaurant is licensed and on Summer evenings visitors can enjoy barbeques of freshly caught fish sitting outside on the pretty renovated railway platform watching the fishermen on the Quay.
