A converted carriage house, situated in the
stable yard of the Historic Manor, the Yard
Restaurant provides light lunches, teas and
evening meals. The Yard Restaurant is under new
management this year and provides all day
service throughout the week. Gilles Verin, our
chef from Bordeaux, offers morning coffee from
10.30am with fresh patisserie. Light lunches are
served from midday and afternoon teas from
2.30pm, including cream teas, saffron cake and
Cornish heavy cake! In the evening there is an A
la carte menu and also Gilles' selected Menu du
Jour. The wine list is selected from some of Sir
Ferrers Vyvyan's own personal favourites as well
as the extensive knowledge of wine merchants
Justerini and Brooks. Due to great demand it is
advisable to book.
