between Bude and Wadebridge on the A395
Launceston Road.
Instruction is also available to qualify you for
your own Licence. Enjoy your flight in a 2-seater
Ikarus C42 aircraft lasting 30 minutes, 1 hour or
even longer. A cabin heater ensures that flights
are possible all the year round; provided the
weather is suitable, no special clothing is
required. Gift Vouchers are available.
The Cornwall Gliding Club has operated from
Perranporth Airfield since 1957. Now, with its
own clubhouse and aircraft storage facilities at
the north eastern end of the airfield the Club
offers a wide range of gliding experience,
including air experience flights and courses.
Aero-tow and winch launches are available and
the coastal situation of the airfield offers
good soaring opportunities. Air experience
flights cost from £30. Single day courses cost
from £60 and five day courses are available from
£285.
