Standing in an imposing position on the quayside, the Customs and Excise building was well respected by the smugglers in the 1800s. After refurbishment

The Metropole is located within
walking distance of Padstow's lovely fishing harbour and beaches. As well as
our harbour Restaurant which holds an AA 'Rosette' for the beautifully made
food there are plenty of nice restaurants to try. Come visit and you will not
