 | Camping Roca Grossa Calella
de la Costa, Barcelona Roca Grossa’s owners, the Bachs family, are very friendly and there is a very happy atmosphere in the campsite. Very steep slopes predominate at this site and there is a challenging 1 in 3, 100 m. climb from reception to the swimming pool set at the top of the site. In high season a road train runs all day to ferry you up to the amenities, but the site is unsuitable for disabled campers. The bonus is some great views over the sea from most of the terraced, but flat and reasonably sized pitches. Landrovers may be used to site your unit. | Open: | ||

| Camping Rupit Rupit,
Barcelona The approach road to the site from the coast is not for the faint hearted, but if a rural setting is what you’re looking for, then this is the site for you – we loved it! The Morell family who own the site (and others on the coast) will welcome you warmly and speak English very well. The mostly level, grass pitches are slightly terraced and some have shade from mature trees. Long leads will be necessary as the electricity points are well spread out. There are two beautiful stone buildings, one housing the reception, bar and restaurant, the other a toilet block. | Open: | ||

| Camping Repos del Pedraforca Saldés,
Barcelona Looking up through the trees in this steeply terraced campsite in the area of the Cadi-Moixero Natural Parc, you see the majestic Pedraforca mountain. A favourite for Catalan climbers and walkers, its amazing rugged peak in the shape of a massive stone fork gives it its name. Access to the site is via a steep, curving road which could challenge some units. There are 180 pitches, including 80 for touring, all with electricity (3-10A) and 15 with connection to water and waste water. They vary in size and accessibility, although there are excellent pitches for larger units. | Open: | ||

| Camping La Rueda Cubelles,
Barcelona On arrival at La Rueda, you are met with an impressive security barrier opposite the reception building. The staff here speak good English and are very welcoming. Just inside the gate is a small pine forest where a more casual camping area is to be found offering plenty of shade. The remainder of the 300 flat, grassy pitches are set amongst young trees where some artificial awnings provide shade. At the far end of the site is a railway underpass (some noise) which leads to a long sandy beach. At the centre of the site and up a few steps, are a bar and snack bar. | Open: | ||
