Not far from the border between Hampshire and West Surrey is the market town of Havant. Much of its centre is now a conservation area with Georgian buildings and weaving footpaths. It is comfortable shopping here with a good mix of retailers and a modern shopping centre.
Staunton Country Park is the place to take all the family, a 1000 acre landscaped parkland. There are gardens and glasshouses, follies and lakes, farm and animals, ancient woodland and a lovely Victorian Coach House cafe, it makes a fantastic day out for everyone.
