The Coate family has been growing and manufacturing willow products since the early 19th Century. Now the only area that is still cultivated for the production of baskets, furniture, garden items and high quality artists' charcoal, the willow industry takes full advantage of the warm Somerset climates for growing. Take a guided tour to see the process of how willow is grown and processed prior to be turning into beautifully handcrafted baskets, garden features etc, and explore our unique museum or take one of three walks through the glorious Somerset countryside. Enjoy offers a tempting range of homemade cakes, cream teas and other refreshments at The Lemon Tree Coffee House, whilst the craft studios offer a very special range of locally made products. There is something for everyone here.
