The Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre is set in 20 acres of wooded valley where two species of deer roam free. The otters are in large semi-natural enclosures, the otters are fed at 12pm and 3pm and this is accompanied by an informative talk by one of the keepers. Wallabies, owls and waterfowl on two lakes. Tearoom serving home made freshly prepared food using local produce where possible, gift shop, ample free parking.

The Monkey Sanctuary is the flagship project of the charity Wild Futures, which recently became the first in Europe to receive accreditation from the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS). A long-established tourist attraction since 1964, it is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of monkeys. Take a tour of the monkey enclosures and learn about these fascinating animals. Or take a gentle stroll around the beautiful woodland gardens. Taste the delicious vegetarian cuisine at the award winning Treetop Café. Children may be enticed by the play area, or take part in arts and crafts in the activity room. There is also a bat zone on site, under the gothic Murrayton House. 10% discount for online bookings.
