Based at Kew Bridge Steam Museum, The Waterworks Railway represents a typical Victorian waterworks railway. It was not unusual in those days to see small steam engines being operated at waterworks. The railway runs on Sundays and Bank Holidays through the summer and is the only one of its type in Greater London. Narrow Gauge.

The railway travels through soft woodlands and lakeside from its station at Woody Bay Beach. Built originally for the water sports and beach at the Lido. It has since been extended to include steep gradients, cuttings, embankments and tight curves. Minimum Gauge.
