Two miles long, the East Kent Railways was originally built to service the local Colliery. Re-opened in 1995 it is operated by volunteers. Visitors can enjoy the ride between Shepherdswell and Eythorne, near Dover. Standard Gauge and Miniature Gauge.

Operated by the North Kent Industrial Locomotive Society, demonstration trains run along three-quarter mile track. Against a backdrop of tall sailing ships you can see Steam and Diesel locos, steam cranes and wagons. Standard and Narrow Gauge.

Known as 'the world's smallest public railway', on 15 inch gauge the line runs for nearly fourteen miles. Stations are at Hythe, Dymchurch, St Mary's Bay, Romney Warren, New Romney, Romney Sands and Dungeness. The beautiful steam locomotives and two diesels are one third full size. Minimum Gauge.
