The village of Burnham, first recorded in the Domesday book, was once very important as the road from London to Bath passed through it. In 1271 it was granted a charter to hold a market but the opening of a bridge
across the River Thames at Maidenhead meant that the road was diverted leaving this village on the Buckinhgamshire/Berkshire border to decline. Today it is almost absorbed by Slough but still retains
some of its village character.
Here we try to offer a wide selection from budget to luxury hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast, B&B accommodation suitable for holidays, vacations or business travellers in Burnham or surrounding areas.
