The Stonehenge Inn is
the only pub in England with this name and is
only about a mile, as the crow flies, from
Stonehenge itself, and is just inside Durrington
Walls.
The area is rich with places of
historical interest and is the ideal
stopping point whether just for a meal, a
drink or over night stop. |

The Stones, as the locals call it, being an Inn,
Restaurant and Pub, has something to offer
everyone. Outdoor
eating and bar area. The Stonehenge Inn
offers you 7 en-suite bedrooms from £30.00 to £90.00,
a food menu, a friendly atmosphere and a very
good base to plan your local trips for the area.
The restaurant is large and comfortable and
strictly non-smoking. The public bar, where you
may eat as well, is to the right of the pub and
visitors will usually find a local sitting at
the bar who will be more than willing to point
them in the right direction for places of
interest.

One of the most beautiful pubs in Wiltshire, the
Kings Arms is a 17th Century Inn converted from
an 11th Century Monks Retreat. Visitors can
enjoy the wonderful dining area with it's
tapestries and set pewter plates, or sit next to
the log fire in the village bar and chat about
the hostelry's ghostly history over a drink or
two. The pub also has lovely gardens for
customers to sit and look over the countryside
or watch the enchanting birds in the Aviaries.
