South East
England includes, of course,
LONDON, world-wide
attraction and most visited city of the UK.

Ask many
tourists what London conjures up in their minds and they
will say Buckingham
Palace,
Tower Bridge, Marble Arch, Houses of Parliament, Big
Ben, The
Tower of London, Madame
Tussauds, and
Harrods, but
these are not, by any means,
its only offering!

Don't visit London for a week and
expect to see all its sights... there are just too many!

Kent, traditional
gateway to England from Europe, is known as the "Garden
of England" and with its rural nature, it is easy to see
why.
In addition to rolling
countryside, Kent also has majestic coasts including the
famous white cliffs, and one of England's
jewels, Canterbury Cathedral. It's amazing to think it
has stood for over 1400 years but was built with the
simplest of tools.

This region's coastline stretches
from Chichester in the south west to Harwich in the east
and covers a wide variety of seafront from traditional
resorts like Bognor, Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Southend and Clacton, to tranquil backwaters like the
quiet estuaries of Essex, popular with sailors and commercial ports like Dover,
Folkestone, and Harwich.
Inland, there is everything from
rolling countryside of the North/South Downs and the
Weald of Kent, The Chilterns north west of London, the
counties of Bedfordshire, Berkshire,
Buckinghamshire,
Essex,
Hertfordshire,
Surrey,
East and West Sussex, all
surrounding Greater London.
