On the shore of Loch Lomond,
Balmaha lies at the foot of majestic Conic Hill
and has for many years been a popular tourist
destination. It also provides welcome relief for
walkers on the long-distance West Highland Way
footpath. A ferry will even carry them to
beautiful Inchcailloch Island to see castle ruins.
