family run Thai restaurant set in the
heart of Fife in the Royal and Ancient
city of St Andrews.
Since opening in July 2003, the
restaurant has quickly established itself
a reputation for excellent service and
incredible food served in intimate and

In order to provide the most authentic tastes
possible Nahm-Jim have gone to great lengths to
serve the finest quality Thai cuisine, cooked and
served exclusively by Thai's, using fresh
ingredients flown in from Thailand each and every
week of the year. We also provide a
take away delivery service to the local
area. Using an original Bangkok Tuk-Tuk,
the first ever imported into the UK for
use on British roads, Nahm-Jim sends out
the finest Thai food to customers in St
Andrews in true Thai style.

Opened
in 2001 as part of The Byre Theatre building,
the Café-Bar-Restaurant has
established itself as a very popular venue for
people of all ages and backgrounds. The space is
contemporary and spacious, ideal for meeting
friends for something to eat or drink, or to
enjoy various sorts of entertainment in the bar
or theatre. In the morning and afternoon the
café is very much frequented by regulars
enjoying the best coffee and finest home baked
short bread in town.
The restaurant offers a welcome alternative to
cooking at home, with a special, very
attractively priced three-course lunch at £6.50.
A wider choice of starters and main courses and
a selection of delicious sandwiches can be
ordered from the main lunch menu.
A starter & main course dinner is available at
£9.95, and is complemented by a selection of
daily changing specials. Desserts are also
available.
The Restaurant is open six days per week, day
and night, and is frequented by theatregoers and
the general public alike. The Restaurant seats
about fifty people.
The Bar serves a fine selection of unusual
draught and bottled beers, cocktails and has a
short but selective wine list on offer. A wide
variety of liqueurs, spirits and soft drinks are
also available. Good music, continental style
table-service and various drink offers make the
Byre Café-Bar a very attractive place to catch
up with friends over a drink.
Every Thursday night at 10 p.m. the bar stages
an open podium for unplugged acoustic music
where a wide range of musicians meet up for a
night of live music.
