The Stables is a tearoom offering fair trade tea and coffee and also provides home-made food for all dietary tastes, with options for coeliacs, vegans, vegetarians, diabetics and those with wheat and dairy intolerances. Situated on the A75 just outside Newton Stewart, it is ideally placed for people travelling to and from Stranraer and Cairnryan ferries, as well as holiday-makers and visitors to the area, to sop for refreshments. All food is made using locally grown and organic ingredients wherever possible and we offer home-made soups with hand-made bread, a range of sandwiches, salads, meat and vegetable main courses, cakes, desserts and tray bakes.
