The Galloway Sailing Centre offers courses in
sailing, windsurfing, open canoe expeditions,
flat and white water kayaking and powerboating
from beginner to advanced or instructor levels.
Also available: quad bikes, mountain bikes,
climbing and abseiling, gorge walking, camping,
tree climbing, archery, team building. We have a
climbing wall and abseiling tower. Equipment is
available for hire for the more experienced.

Dumfries and Galloway branch is one of the
largest branches of the Scottish Sub Aqua Club
in the country In the Summer we try to arrange
open water dives at Brighouse Bay (weather
permitting) this can provide safe confined open
water for trainees at the discretion of the BDO.We hold regular "come and try it " sessions at
Dumfries Pool. These are advertised on this site
and in the local press, but anyone is welcome to
attend on a Wednesday night and join in our pool
session.

We are situated in the heart of the Galloway
Hills on the east bank of the beautiful Loch Ken
with great views up the loch. You see all the
action of the water activities and have a BBQ or
picnic at this wonderful location. We offer
something different and fun to do - whether you
are a beginner, old hand or just need a bit more
tuition our staff are there to cater for your
needs. The ski school offers an ideal location
for parties with a wide range of activities and
excellent facilities. We can cater for groups or
corporate days out. All equipment is provided
and to add to the fun we also have inflatables.
A full range of watersports equipment and
clothing is available for sale and rental.
