A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this
award winning restaurant. Voted "Best light
lunch 2001" and "Best Promotion of Local Produce
2002". Chef has ever changing lunch and dinner
menus which use local produce in season creating
wonderful Scottish food with a twist. For
example - slow baked Borders Lamb with creamed
potatoes and its own roast gravy. The restaurant
has a charming ambiance with old tables and
chairs and is furnished with old pictures and
antiques which you can peruse and purchase if
you wish. We pride ourselves on a delicious
selection of home baking, from Border tarts,
shortbread, carrot cakes etc there is something
for everyone. Open for lunches daily and dinner
available on Friday and Saturday nights. Booking
advisable.
