Places to eat & drink in Belfast.

The Northern Ireland city of Belfast has been voted the 4th best city to visit in the UK and it is fast becoming one of the top travel destinations in the world. With its many grand striking buildings from the Victorian and Edwardian era, the city, today, has an air of bustling confidence after the troubles of the past.

The city has four cultural quarters, the oldest being the Cathedral Quarter dominated by the warm coloured stone of St Anne's Cathedral and the Albert Memorial Clock, it has both grand townscape vistas, main shops and hidden alleys where more delights can be found.

The Queen's Quarter houses the university, botanic gardens, palm house, art galleries, shops and a rich variety of eating places. The old ship building areas which created the Titanic and other great ships are now the Titanic Quarter and the developments here will outclass the size of those in London. There is a fantastic attraction in the newly built Titanic Belfast visitor centre, over six floors high this building will give you the entire story of this great ship.

The Gaeltacht Quarter takes in much of the recent history of Belfast, there are tours that will take you round some of the political sites, and you can enjoy its arts and craft centres, pubs and clubs offering live music, and eateries where you can enjoy very much the local irish flavours.

There is much more to this city than meets the eye, and just a short stay will want you coming back for more.

We cannot give a full list of all available food outlets but below is a small selection of those available in Belfast or surrounding areas.
