Ashworth Valley

A 2 mile walk to Norden beside the pretty Cheesden Brook along its tree-lined valley. Located at Hooley Bridge, on the Bury-Rochdale Road (the B6222), and ends at the Rochdale-Edenfield Road (the A680).

Green Flag Awarded wooded ravine runs through the immediate north-eastern inner suburbs of Manchester, yet it is totally unspoilt. It is accessible by path from Rochdale Road. There is a large boating lake with a tree covered island.
