Silverdale Cafe and Restaurant

Silverdale, Isle of Man, IM9 3DS
Tel: 01624 823474

Situated at Silverdale Glen, Ballasalla. Morning coffee, snacks, ice creams, lunches, afternoon teas. Open all year and parties welcome. Silverdale Glen, run for the past three years by Ian and Avril Walker, is a place of great appeal and a great venue for a family day out. The focal point is the restaurant-cum-café situated on the banks of the boating lake where boats can be hired in the summer months. The choice of eating is very varied. The ice cream parlour serves delicious locally produced ice cream, soft drinks and confectionery. In the tea room, snacks, light meals, lunches, afternoon teas, cakes and homebaked scones satisfy appetites throughout the day, while in the licensed restaurant a wide selection of home-cooked meals is available from the daytime menu and specials board. The restaurant is also open on Friday and Saturday evenings offering a frequently changing choice of dishes (à la carte or a great value three course menu on Friday, à la carte only on Saturday.) In addition to the eating and the boating, the Glen offers scenic walks, a children's playground and a unique water-driven roundabout. Parking at the Glen is free and there's wheelchair access.
