 | Hawkhirst is approximately 50 miles north west of Newcastle and extends over 70 acres of mainly coniferous forest. Located within 200 square miles of the Kielder Forest, it is surrounded on three sides by the vast expanse of Kielder Water. It's hard to imagine anywhere more ideally suited to its purpose of providing outdoor adventures and learning for groups. On either side of Hawkhirst Peninsula are sheltered creeks, ideal for basic canoeing and rowing. We own a considerable fleet of sailing dinghies, canoes and other craft. Call centre for prices. Three accommodation units offered on a full board basis. The forest offers excellent camping in specially cleared areas. You can also be sure that you won't be far away from toilet facilities or fresh running water. |

At Marsden Dive Centre, every type of diver is
catered for from the individual novice to the
most advanced technical dive team. We offer a
full range of diving equipment, sales, servicing
and rental in addition to PADI and IANTD
training courses. And we are the North's only
full Nitrox and Trimix filling station providing
air to 350 bar as well as tank testing. We are
the North Easts only rebreather training centre.

We offer professional coaching with safe,
quality tuition in small groups. Lessons are for
people of all ages and abilities. We cater for
individuals, families, schools, parties and
groups. Surfing courses are also available on
request. They extend your skills and knowledge
of the sport and are usually arranged for groups
of people. A British Surfing Association (BSA)
instructor and Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS)
beach lifeguard takes the lesson. We hire
Surfboards, Foamboards, Wetsuits, Boots and
Gloves.
