Chestnut Farm is a
family owned and run park ideally situated by
the river Ouse in the attractive rural village
of Acaster Malbis, yet only 3 miles from the
city of York. The park is extensively landscaped
and provides a peaceful rural setting from which
to enjoy and explore the many attractions of
York and Yorkshire. The self catering
accommodation comprises of luxury holiday
caravans and cottages.
The caravans are graded
'Rose Award' by the English Tourist Board, and
are equipped and maintained to the highest
standards. All the caravans have two bedrooms
(accommodating a maximum of six persons) and
offer exceptional levels of comfort, with
central heating and double glazing throughout.
The cottages are
outstanding conversions of the original
farmstead and set around a secluded, landscaped
courtyard within the park. All the cottages have
oak beams, oak floors in living room, slate
floors in kitchen/dining room, brick inglenook
fireplaces with multi-fuel type stoves. All
kitchens are built in old pine and equipped to a
very high standard. Each cottage is
double-glazed and has gas-fired central heating
throughout. All bedrooms have fitted carpets,
